Our trip to Arizona

About a month ago we took a trip to Arizona for Sean's best friend, Patrick's, wedding. It's taken me forever to sort thru the pictures, but I finally did it! We had a really fun time. We stayed in a place called 'The Legacy Resort' which was amazing!!! We had a full kitchen, fully stocked with anything we needed for cooking, a washer/dryer, jacuzzi tub, patio, dining room, and we didn't have to share a room with the kids! On site they had an amazing pool, kids park, walking/running trails..it was great.

Shad and Kiahla at the pool:
I took the kids to the Phoenix Zoo one day while Sean was spending some time with Patrick. We originally were just going to a park, but I got lost and found myself in the parking lot of the Zoo...So we decided just to go! It was fun, and the weather was perfect..not too hot or cold. They had a really cool, interactive Monkey room, where you could walk inside with the monkeys, kinda like a butterfly exhibit. But they warned us not to touch anything because apparently, monkeys pee on EVERYTHING...eeewww..we had a through hand-washing when we got out.

We took this exact picture of the kids last year..this is at the rehearsal for Patrick and Rachel's wedding (they're at the altar) . It's crazy to see how much they're grown in 1 year!!

For the rehearsal dinner we went to this cool, rustic place called Rustlers Roost. It had a metal slide, live music, a killer view, and a huge bull at the entrance...very 'meat and 'taters' kind of place..very unique and cool. Here is where we discovered that Kaihla loves corn on the cob.

Groom and Best Man, and the rehearsal dinner..

Here's Daddy with his kids on the day of the wedding! You can click on it to make it bigger..they're the cutest things on the planet!! All 3 of them!

My handsome husband and son. They both look irresistible when they're dressed up like this!

Here's the Fam before the wedding. They were married at a beautiful place called the Secret Garden..really cool, with awesome mountains (rocks!) behind it.

Patrick and Rachel exchanging vows!!

Me and my babies!! ..not really babies anymore!

The wedding party..they all looked so beautiful!

Shad practicing his model pose..he actually stood like that on his own..too GQ!

Kaihla LOVES TO PARTY!!!! Once the music started..she was on fire!! (although it was late, and she didn't want to give up her blankie or her binkey) but still wanted to be right in the middle of everything. She danced, and danced..she was loving all the attention she was getting. Patrick's sisters, Jenny and Shannon were her main dance partners, but she shared the love too...

Me and Jenny taking a break outside :-)

Sean, Rachel and Patrick. She looked so beautiful!!! ...don't you just love weddings?? I do :-)

Kaihla, dancing again with Jenny
The day after the wedding, we all went to a Spring training game! It was our first spring training game, and it was very cool. Shad liked it..Kaihla could care less..I actually don't think she even knew there was a game going on!!! HA! Shad had his first taste of cotton candy...

he loved it!!!

Shadwic and Daddy at their first baseball game together!

Sean, Shad, and Patrick..(notice how Shad's face is blue..ya, he loved that cotton candy!)

After the game was over, they allowed kids to run the bases. Shad said he wanted to, so we stood in line, forever. Once we were allowed to get on the field, we realized that adults weren't allowed, just kids. To our surprise, Shad still wanted to run the bases, so he stood in line like a big kid, and waited until it was his turn to run....(he's in the brown shirt, and plaid shorts..the smallest one by far out there)

Off he went!! He ran around all the bases! We were so proud of him..I got a little teary seeing my little guy being such a big kid out there..and seeing how well he did! He touched all the bases!

Rounding second, heading into third base..

He made it home!!

Fun trip..hope to do another one soon :-)
