Our new addition.....maybe

On the morning of my birthday, Sean and I went on a long run. Something we have not done at Vickie's house before. It was a beautiful morning , so we went on a 45 minute run in the Forrest around her house. On our way back a dog came running up to us, soaking wet. We both waited for it's owner to come after it, but that never happened. We continued our run, not realizing we were being followed. This dog crossed Hwy 44 to follow us home. He ran along side of us until we got back home to Vickies. Once we were there, he stood outside the gate playing with the dogs thru the fence, and whining. After 20 minutes or so, we let him in. We figure he's around 6 months old or so. He did not have any tags or anything. He loves to play, and is a chewer. He's great with the kids, and very light-footed. We decided to take him home. ..see if he's micro-chipped, and possibly keep him. If it didn' t work out, Vickie would take him back to her place and find a home for him. We love him, he is such a great dog..SO sweet. The only problem is that he's a puppy...and puppy's are a lot of work...Something we're just not sure we're ready for right now. Already having to look after 2 little ones, and adding a puppy that needs constant supervision...we'll have to see how it goes...we named him Trax (because he followed our tracks home!)
